What is it?

It is an Assisted Reproduction programme aimed at significantly increasing the possibility of pregnancy and childbirth in patients with low success rates in treatments with their own eggs.

We have state-of-the-art laboratories, the best team of biologists and we follow strict safety and quality protocols in all our centres. We also have the best add-on techniques. We choose for each patient the techniques that will help them to achieve their goal of having a child: Pre-implantational Genetic Test (PGT), ICSI, IMSI, Fertile, etc.

For whom?

For people who want to try, once again, In Vitro Fertilisation with their own eggs before opting for donor egg IVF but avoiding delays. This situation mainly affects:

Women of all ages with low ovarian reserve
Women over 40
Cases with previous failed cycles where no viable embryos were produced

The Tandem-IVF programme consists in trying an IVF cycle with the patient's own eggs but, at the same, time preparing an egg donor. In this way, we offer, in all cases, the possibility of undergoing an embryo transfer without having to wait.

If the patient has embryos of optimal quality with her own eggs, we discard the donor cycle. If the patient's eggs are not of sufficient quality or if no viable embryos are obtained, additional embryos are created without delay with the donor's eggs. Thus, the transfer of an embryo of optimal quality can be carried out in her next menstrual cycle.

Tandem-IVF allows us to better accompany our patients, especially those who have already undergone previous unsuccessful cycles, and to assist them in the transition to egg donation. Similarly, this programme reduces the financial cost for patients who are considering switching to donor egg IVF, but still wish to try out a final IVF attempt with their own eggs.
