Dr. Àlex García-Faura has more than 20 years of experience as a specialist in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. With extensive training in different fields of the speciality, he has become a great expert in the approach to gynaecological and obstetric pathologies and in Assisted Reproduction. Specifically, in prenatal diagnosis, pregnancy, risk pregnancy, breast pathology and reproduction in oncology patients.
He represents the third generation of gynaecologists in a renowned family saga. His goal is to provide the highest quality in specialised Gynaecology and Assisted Reproduction treatments, focusing on the relationship with patients and a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of each case.
Throughout his career, he has combined his healthcare work with teaching, being a member of the UAB - Institut Universitari Dexeus Teaching Commission. At the same time, he has carried out important research and dissemination activities and has authored numerous scientific articles in his speciality.
He is currently Scientific Director and Fertility Specialist at Institut Marquès. He offers consultations at the Barcelona clinic to international patients in four languages.
