Dr Hans Arce is a Fertility Consultant at Institut Marquès. He graduated from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, where he worked for two years with the economically and socially disadvantaged people of his country. He then studied in Barcelona, Spain where he trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the well-renowned Hospital Clinic de Barcelona.
After his training, he worked for 9 years in one of the leading fertility clinics in Barcelona involved in the medical and surgical treatment of infertile couples. He was the head of the international department and medical director of that centre, as well as Director of the minimally invasive surgical department.
After his time at Institut Marquès Clane (Ireland), Dr. Arce continued his career as a senior fertility specialist and Medical Director of prestigious clinics in Ireland, before returning to Institut Marquès Barcelona in 2025.
He prides himself for his practical approach to problems especially the importance of the emotional concerns his patients often have to go through in this very difficult journey. He also works really hard to deliver to his patients the most evidence-based treatments he has to hand.
